Andrew Orlowski: semantic ethnic-cleansing [via Sean McGrath]

Fascinating, indeed.

Some people are anti-big business.  Some people are anti-big government.  But if you strip away all of this, power laws still apply, and the people who are selected still have bandwidth limitations and personal objectives, and the end result is the same.

If you are a glass is half empty kinda person, this can lead one to despair.  If you are a glass is half full kinda person, it leads to the revelation that a single person with enough patience and persistence can make a huge impact.

Me?  I try to manufacture serendipity whenever I can.

RE:Googlewash

This is probably offtopic but it's always been hard for me to take an article seriously when it tries to make a trivial occurence seem more significant by tying it to life and death real-world occurences. Semantic "ethnic cleansing" indeed.

PS: Posting this from RSS Bandit. If I don't get a 500 then I'll create another release this afternoon (hopefully I can also get RSS autodiscovery working).

Sam,
Great I didn't get a 500. It looks like RSS Bandit now officially supports the CommentAPI although it seems for now your blog is the only one that is CommentAPI enabled. I was quite surprised to find out Joe Gregorio's blog didn't expose CommentAPI support via RSS even though it was his  proposal. Weird.
