Survival guide to I18n
In the next installment of the atom guide, I tackle what may very well be the number one issue in ill-formed feeds: character encoding in general, and smart quotes in particular. In the process of producing this documentation, I am struck by two things:
- How hard it is to find all the right pieces, and figure out how they interrelate
- Despite the pervasiveness of the issue addressed here, I'm surprised that I can't readily locate other similar documents.
Perhaps the former is the reason for the latter.
