It’s just data

Mavericks

Did a clean install of Mavericks on my test mac-mini.  Things to be aware of for next time:

xcode-select --install

sudo ln -s /Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/Toolchains/XcodeDefault.xctoolchain/ /Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/Toolchains/OSX10.9.xctoolchain

sudo mkdir -p /usr/local/lib; sudo ln -s /usr/local/mysql/lib/libmysql* /usr/local/lib

Mavericks is now my daily driver OS, and I’m really impressed by the way that my 3-year-old laptop actually got noticeably, measurably faster (coming from Mountain Lion) on my most important tasks, thanks to far better memory management and task prioritization.
