When I'm visiting the Sun Santa Clara campus, I usually stay at the local Sierra Suites, which is literally just across the street, and is comfy, but the free Fast Internet is actually quite slow. Ask for the Sun rate, I forget the details but it's a bargain. -Tim
Agenda
-
Expectations of process & progress going forward (possibly/probably in the IETF or W3C)
-
Discuss proposed IETF WG charter (see action item) and W3C Working Group charter (see action item)
-
Editorial work to prepare Atom documents for standardization
-
Discussion of one outstanding tech issue, namely multi-part non-textual postings
-
Gather additional requirements for syntax and/or protocol.

I'll order in lunch since it's tough to get to the cafeteria from where we are. Please let me know about dietary restrictions by email.

Regrets
-
DanBri Sorry I can't make the trip; conflict with commitments in Europe. Have a good meeting.
-
KarlDubost "Commitment in Montreal for this specific day. I wish there will be at least an IRC channel. I will finish the draft W3C charter by the date of this meeting and if there are questions I will comment and explain."
-
AnilDash Sorry I'll be in New York that day. Any chance of participating via phone conference or IRC?
-
Scovetta Sorry, will be in New York as well. Would appreciate a phone conference as well.
-
BryanThompson Sorry that I can't make the trip. I would appreciate telcon access to the meeting. I would support an effort to standardize at the W3C, but I would not oppose one to standardize at the IETF.
-
GregStein dang. can't make it after all. I misread as tuesday the 1st. sigh.
