[NickChalko] I don't really like the name, just thinking outload (about fences that is)

Every feed wants eyeballs, what better than barbwire to attract eyeballs [NickChalko just kidding]
I believe it's spelled barbed wire and pronounced bob war.
Do you really want to associate that stuff with a film starring Pam Anderson? That was certainly my first thought when I heard the name, and what a gross association that would be. Talk about reinforcing the boys' club perception.
Let me second the sense of "boys club" that this name would reinforce. There are plenty of other decent ideas for names--I hope that this one will be dropped based on the the negative gender connotations alone. The "keep out" connotations don't help, either. [LizLawley]

[MartinAtkins] Here in England, I think most people call it "Barb Wire", lazilly dropping the "ed"... so most English folk will think of barbed wire when they see/hear this name. That, or the Pamela Anderson movie.
