It’s just data

WS-Blog

Don Box: I have seen the future and it combines SOAP and spell-checking.

Looking at his first message, it has a SOAP envelope with zero headers, and one body which contains one Item. This Item contains a title, description, and content. The content is not entity encoded, but instead is well formed XML. Even in it's current, clearly machine generated, form the datastream is clean and simple. (By hand, it could be made smaller through the judicious use of default namespaces).
