Form and Function
The naming of this site, intertwingly, is based in a large part in my belief that form and function are inseparable.
This morning, I received email from people complaining that they were also finding it difficult to separate out form from function in discussion what a well formed weblog entry would look like. I also received emails from people complaining that other people where not respecting the rules which prohibited such discussion. Apparently at least one person decided to take matters into their own hands and enforce the rules. Please don't do that.
I've update the wiki guidelines to indicate that exploration of syntax and other important matters, while permitted, should be done on separate pages so that those that wish to focus on conceptual issues can do so. And asking people to play nice and not delete each other's comments.
