Short Form
First, Shelley Powers calls my slides poetry. I’m a bit embarrassed by the accolade. The material is certainly not new. Nor do I consider it my best work. It is the presentation style that was, perhaps, a bit novel. Highly constrained. Miserly with words. Generous with links and transclusion.
Then — in a rare, long and rambling paragraph — Tim refers to an “incoherent” piece in the Guardian that made him think; Tim then contrasts it to an excellent article that — if I don’t miss my guess — largely reinforced Tim’s already held beliefs.
Tim’s post made me think.
