intertwingly

I haven’t blogged about my family much, but my kids are now getting old enough that it feels safe to do so, so let’s start with my son.  Very much unlike his dad, his passion is sports, particularly ones which involve a net on the ground — soccer, hockey (both roller and ice), and lacrosse.  His favorite teams hail from Carolina and Toronto, Toronto being the exotic place where his father frequently travelled when he was young, often bringing back a small sports related gift.

He now goes to CNU, the college that both his mother and I graduated from.  I’ve found the transition to his being away much harder to deal with than I ever could have imagined.

Despite rarely smiling for photographs, he does have a sense of humor, often tending to the dry side.
