Eric Siu: which file would i edit to remove the blank line? ... seems that a lot of them are having similar problems, but there is no solution yet

Unfortunately, the people who are subscribed to feedvalidator-users don’t seem to know the answers to questions such as these.  I know, I don’t.  But perhaps one of the readers of this weblog does.

Here’s what I can do: I can change the feed validator detect that the feed starts with a blank link, contains a (misplaced) XML declaration, and contains the string wordpress in the generator element.  And based on what I have been able to piece together, I have produced the following help page.

If anybody can identify any errors or omissions in the help page I produced, please let me know.
