Roundhouse Released
Five months ago, yesterday: Initial commit: typed IR, Ruby round-trip, Rust struct emit.
Yesterday, Matz on stage: 5x the throughput; 366 MB against 4.6 GB, referring to Campfire → Roundhouse → Spinel
Today is the first release. Highlights:
- Analyzes, from an in-browser IDE, an LSP, or an MCP server.
- Transpiles a blog app with Action Cable, Turbo Stream, and Tailwind CSS to a dozen languages.
- Compiles Campfire with Spinel into a Docker image.
Documentation, Nate says, is claudeslop. Guilty. If that or anything else bothers you, you know what to do.
