Mark Woods notes that human-readible documentation is important. Perhaps that's why wsdl document elements were invented? "The documentation element is allowed inside any WSDL language element." Seems like more people need to make use of this feature. In any case, this need not be an either/or situation. The more documentation the better, I would say.
